This Mexican client is a beverage bottle manufacturer requiring large-quantity production, necessitating a high-output blow moulding machine.
The client needed to produce beverage bottles with a large diameter (110mm), requiring custom preforms and moulds. Due to high shipping costs to Mexico (up to $60,000 annually), frequent preform purchases were cost-prohibitive. Additionally, available blow moulding machines for jars lacked automatic feeders, resulting in slow production. So, we recommended the client to purchase an injection moulding machine to produce preforms themselves, providing long-term cost savings. We also suggested integrating the injection moulding machine with the blow moulding machine for jars, allowing for simple manual feeding to resolve efficiency issues.
The client reported that our blow moulding machine’s hourly output fully met their needs, producing consistently high-quality bottles without issues like uneven wall thickness, bubbles, or deformation. Subsequently, the client ordered an air compressor and an additional bottle moulds from us.
